A new flavor of tech.
This Hell's Kitchen studio cranks out ideas that raise eyebrows.
We believe the most interesting tech begins with understanding people, not by reading about them.
That means paying attention to how people actually live, communicate, connect, struggle, adapt, and change.
What guides us
Freedom
We need room to choose, experiment, change our minds, redefine ourselves, and live differently.
Kindness
Kindness is not the absence of rigor—we see it as strength that has no need to be loud.
Inclusion
We approach projects with the lens that there is no single default human experience.
Guts
New ideas require the tenacity to go somewhere before the path is fully visible.
Solid products
are built with
diversity in mind.
Our products will enter diverse markets.
And we're prepared for that.
Different lives produce different questions and different ways to see a product. Bringing in different perspectives helps take an idea from great to outstanding.
That matters especially when building
with artificial intelligence.
Technology can unintentionally carry biases about people, behavior, language, relationships, and what constitutes “normal.” We want to remain aware and knowledgeable about those assumptions and act on them.
Our goal is not to design for a world in which everyone behaves the same way.
It is to build broadly, thoughtfully, and with precision.
Built with curiosity.
Guided by values.
Cliffside is designed to be bigger than
any single product.
We are building a studio that can create its own technology, develop new ideas, collaborate with others, and evolve as new possibilities emerge. What should remain constant is how we approach the work.
